"Media Technology Solutions is great.
We have had a number of audio-video projects with several different vendors. As we have used those solutions over the years we have discovered that the solutions employed were too complex and not very adaptable as technology changed. We had another project that involved integration of computer, audio-video, and communication technology. We were determined to find a solution that did what we needed to do for the long term and was easy enough to use. We were fortunate to find MTS.
MTS knew the technology, listened to us, helped us define what we needed to do, and researched options. I think the key thing is that MTS worked with us more as a partner in our project than a vendor selling a customer a product.
Thanks to MTS, our project was very successful, the solution does everything we need to do, and it is easy to use."

"I wanted to take this opportunity to recommend Rob Witteveen and Media Technology Solutions for his work as our Audio Visual Specialist. He responded quickly to our need for a job done correctly and in a timely manner. Rob had great knowledge with regard to our audio and visual needs, which gave us great confidence in his ability to meet our needs. His professionalism and dependability was consistent throughout the entire job. But Rob’s flexibility with the nature of our business was what set him apart from all others. When the needs and requirements of our business infringed on his work, his ability to adjust by addressing another aspect of the job forces me to have to highly recommend Rob to others in need of great work and customers service. I absolutely will use Rob again in the future."

Calvin Theological Seminary
Media Technology Solutions
partnered with Calvin Theological Seminary to design a smart classroom that would provide presentation tools to the professors and record audio and video for students to review lectures and special presentations. Since many of the seminary’s students are from other countries where English is not a first language the lecture recordings help the students succeed in their education.
The systems design for Calvin Seminary included a plasma display to display a presentation computer, a laptop connection and a DVD/VCR combo deck in each room. Each classroom has a Smart Technology’s® Sympodium (interactive display - you can write on the screen and it shows up on the plasma). Each classroom also has a control panel which controls all the functions of the classroom. Each classroom uses the technology of Echo 360® for all the capture functions of the room.
MTS also redesigned Calvin Seminary’s Auditorium audio visual systems which included a
lecture capture system. The auditorium system is similar to the classrooms except that is can be operated from the front or the tech booth and it has expanded functionality for multiple purposes. A fully functional control system switches all the functions of the system.
The positive response of the classroom capture system were above our expectations. Professors want to teach in the smart classrooms and students only want to take classes that are being held in the smart classrooms.
Holiday Inn - Muskegon Harbor
MTS worked with
Holiday Inn Muskegon Harbor in redesigning their audio systems and designing an installed video system. Holiday Inn initially contacted MTS because they were having major feedback and poor sound quality. MTS redesigned the audio system which included updated technology and a multi-zone mixer, new speakers and a portable CD player and microphone mixer.
Holiday Inn needed to meet new standards for projectors and projection screens. MTS worked with Holiday Inn in the placement and connections for the projection system. Holiday Inn was very pleased with the audio visual system and that MTS worked around their room rental schedule.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
MTS was contacted by GDK Construction
to submit a bid for the design and installation of a sound system for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. MTS worked with the church on some design changes and configurations of the audio system.
MTS had some challenges to overcome in designing an audio system mainly because the church did not want the speakers to “stand out” or block the view of the cross. After researching the best product for this project we came up with a solution that is not obtrusive to the audience. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is very pleased with their audio system as well as how easy it is to use. They were also very impressed with how clearly everything was labeled.
